Guidelines Author Guidelines & Manuscript Preparation

JASSS welcomes high-quality submissions. To ensure a smooth review and publication process, please prepare your manuscript according to the structural and formatting guidelines below.

Standard Scientific Structure

Manuscripts must be organized sequentially as follows:

1. Title 2. Abstract (Max 250 words) 3. Keywords 4. Introduction 5. Methods 6. Results 7. Discussion 8. Conclusion 9. References

Formatting & Elements

  • Language: Manuscripts must be submitted in either English or Bahasa Indonesia.
  • References: Formatting must rigidly follow the citation style specified in the journal's manuscript template, and must be applied consistently throughout the text.
  • Tables and Figures: Must be numbered sequentially (e.g., Table 1, Figure 1), properly captioned, and explicitly referenced within the main text.

Multi-Pillar Submissions

For manuscripts that address more than one pillar of the journal's focus, authors are strictly required to state explicitly within the Introduction section:

  1. Which pillars are engaged in the study.
  2. The nature of the connection between these pillars, demonstrating how they are integrated through the presented evidence.
