Ethics Publication Ethics & Malpractice Statement
JASSS follows the Core Practices and Code of Conduct issued by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity in the publication process.
Zero Tolerance Policy
The journal does not tolerate any form of academic misconduct. Submissions found violating these principles will be immediately rejected. Unacceptable practices include, but are not limited to:
1. Data Fabrication & Falsification
4. Image Manipulation
2. Duplicate or Redundant Submission
5. Undisclosed Conflicts of Interest
3. Honorary and Ghost Authorship
Author Requirements
- Authors are required to disclose all funding sources at the time of submission.
- Authors must explicitly declare any competing interests that could influence the interpretation of their work.
- Authors must confirm that each listed author has made a substantive contribution to the conceptualization, design, execution, or interpretation of the research.
Allegations of Misconduct
Allegations of misconduct, whether raised before or after publication, are investigated by the Editor-in-Chief in consultation with the relevant pillar-assigned Editor. The investigation strictly follows COPE's published flowcharts.
Consequences: Proven misconduct may result in manuscript rejection, correction, or retraction, along with formal notification to the corresponding author's institution where warranted.
