Plagiarism Statement
The Journal of Sustainable Bioeconomy and One Health (JSBOH) maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against plagiarism in all its forms.
Similarity Screening
All manuscripts submitted to JSBOH are screened using industry-standard similarity-detection software prior to entering peer review. A similarity index exceeding the threshold set by the editorial board (excluding references, quotations, and methodology boilerplate) results in immediate return to the author or outright rejection, depending on severity and intent.
Types of Plagiarism
Text recycling, translation plagiarism, and undisclosed reuse of the authors' own previously published material (self-plagiarism) are treated with the same severity as third-party plagiarism.
Post-Publication Retraction
Confirmed plagiarism identified after publication will result in retraction in accordance with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) retraction guidelines, and the finding will be communicated to the author's affiliated institution.
