About the Journal

Journal of Future Learning Ecosystems (JFLE) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality and interdisciplinary research on the development, innovation, governance, and sustainability of future learning ecosystems. The journal provides a scholarly platform for researchers, educators, policymakers, educational leaders, instructional designers, and technology developers to explore how learning environments evolve in response to technological advancement, social transformation, cultural diversity, and emerging global challenges.

JFLE conceptualizes education as a dynamic and interconnected ecosystem in which pedagogy, learning resources, digital technologies, artificial intelligence, human development, culture, leadership, management, and policy collectively shape meaningful, inclusive, adaptive, and sustainable learning experiences. The journal welcomes original research articles, review articles, systematic literature reviews, bibliometric studies, conceptual papers, and short communications that contribute to advancing future-oriented learning ecosystems across diverse educational contexts.

To facilitate specialized contributions while maintaining a cohesive interdisciplinary framework, the journal welcomes original research articles, reviews, and short communications categorized under five core ecosystem pillars:

1. Learning Innovation (Innovative Learning Design and Pedagogy). Focuses on the development, implementation, and evaluation of innovative pedagogical approaches, learning models, and instructional practices that enhance learner engagement, learning effectiveness, and educational outcomes in diverse educational settings.
2. Learning Resources and Educational Media (Learning Content and Resource Development). Focuses on the design, development, utilization, and evaluation of learning resources and educational media that support accessible, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences across formal, non-formal, and informal learning environments.
3. Digital Learning and Artificial Intelligence (Educational Technology and Intelligent Learning Systems). Focuses on the integration of digital technologies, artificial intelligence, learning analytics, and intelligent learning systems to transform teaching, learning, assessment, and educational management in the digital era.
4. Human Development, Culture, and Global Citizenship (Character and Socio-Cultural Learning). Focuses on character development, multicultural understanding, cultural learning, social-emotional competencies, and global citizenship education that foster ethical, responsible, and culturally responsive learners within future learning ecosystems.
5. Educational Governance, Leadership, Management, Assessment, and Future Competencies (Policy and Sustainable Educational Development). Focuses on educational governance, leadership, management, policy, curriculum innovation, assessment, quality assurance, and the development of future competencies required to build resilient, sustainable, and transformative educational ecosystems.
