Author Fees

The Synergy: Journal of Outcome-Based Community Engagement is committed to absolute transparency regarding publication costs. To ensure that impactful community service models and innovations can be disseminated widely without financial barriers, the journal has established the following fee structure:

1. Article Submission Charges (ASC)

IDR 0.00 / USD 0.00

This journal does not charge any fees for manuscript submission. Authors can submit their articles to our Open Journal Systems (OJS) for editorial desk evaluation completely free of charge.

2. Article Processing Charges (APC)

IDR 50.000

To encourage the widespread dissemination of outcome-based community engagement models, The Synergy currently does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APC) or publication fees.

Authors whose manuscripts successfully pass the Double-Blind Peer Review and are accepted for publication will have their articles processed, formatted, and published globally at no cost.

Ethical Declarations on Fees

  • No Fast-Track Fee: We do not offer expedited or "fast-track" peer-review processes for a fee. All manuscripts undergo the same rigorous quality assurance and duration of review to ensure absolute academic integrity.
  • Fee Waiver Policy: Should the journal implement publication fees in the future, we maintain a firm policy to grant waivers to authors from low-income countries or authors who demonstrate a lack of research funding, ensuring that financial constraints never prevent the publication of excellent community service outcomes.
