Author Guidelines

Manuscripts submitted to AgroSciTech: Journal of Sustainable Agriculture must strictly follow the format and structural requirements specified below. Authors are required to submit their complete metadata during the online submission process, including the full name, detailed institutional affiliation, active email address, mobile phone number, and ORCID ID for every author.

1. Title Page and General Metadata Formatting

  • Manuscript Title: Must be concise, effective, and straightforward. Written using Arial 16pt, single line spacing, and formatted in Capital Each Word.
  • Author Names: Written below the title using Arial 10pt Bold with single line spacing.
  • Affiliation Details: Must be written explicitly below the authors' names using Arial 9pt with single line spacing. The syntax must strictly follow the order: Study Program, Faculty/Institution, City, Country.
  • Correspondence: The email address of the designated Corresponding Author must be clearly provided using Arial 9pt, single line spacing.

2. Abstract and Keywords Requirements

  • Abstract Content: The abstract must be a single, self-contained, and integrated text covering a brief introduction and clear research objectives, brief description of materials and methods (identifying scientific names, organisms, and chemicals), summary of results, and final conclusions or recommendations along with suggestions.
  • Length & Style: Must contain between 150 to 250 words, written without any text citations/references. It must be formatted using Arial Italic 10pt and include line numbering.
  • Keywords: Provide a maximum of 5 keywords that represent the core essence of your article. Must be written in Arial 10pt and arranged alphabetically.

3. Main Text Structural Guidelines

A. Introduction Presents concise and clear background information regarding the study, the driving rationale, and detailed research problems supported by balanced, updated, and highly relevant references. Authors must minimize references older than 10 years, except when citing the seminal first discovery. The introduction must end with current knowledge gaps and a clear objective. Length: 750 to 1000 words, written in Arial 12pt with line numbering.
B. Methods Must state the time and place of the study in the opening paragraph. Clearly describe all materials, experimental design, treatments, chemical analyses, parameters, and statistical methods used. Actions must be written in the past tense. New methods must be described step-by-step for reproducibility, whereas established methods should be briefly summarized with appropriate citations. Length: 400 to 600 words in Arial 12pt.
C. Results and Discussion Results must logically present findings from most to least important with a clear storyline in the past tense, summarizing data without duplicating it across forms or adding interpretations. Include statistical p-values to show significant differences, without hiding data. Discussion must start by answering the main findings against research objectives, comprehensively integrating data comparisons to support mechanisms. Do not separate this section into sub-sections. Interpret and compare results with other studies, objectively confront conflicting literature to justify your data, declare limitations, highlight novelty, and suggest future research. Visuals must align with column widths.

4. Conclusion and Acknowledgments

  • Conclusion: Must clearly answer the research objectives without including any statistical statements or numbers. Authors may suggest future experiments. Length: 40 to 80 words written in Arial 12pt.
  • Acknowledgments: Explicitly state the funding sources, the names of funding recipients, and individuals who significantly helped with the research execution. Length: 20 to 3000 words written in Arial 12pt.

5. References

  • Reference Style: Must strictly follow the American Psychological Association (APA) 7 style manual, arranged alphabetically from A to Z.
  • Recency Constraint: References must only utilize publications from the last 10 years; items older than 10 years will not be accepted.
  • Tools: Authors are strongly required to manage citations using reference manager such as Mendeley.
  • CrossRef Integrity: All citation references must be linked to their corresponding records in CrossRef to minimize typos. Avoid using references that are not registered in CrossRef.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines and journal template.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • File Format: The submission file is strictly in Microsoft Word format (.docx).
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission

Authors who publish their manuscripts in AgroSciTech: Journal of Sustainable Agriculture agree to the following copyright and licensing terms. This policy ensures the wide dissemination of agricultural research while protecting the intellectual property rights of the creators.

Authors retain full copyright ownership of their work published in AgroSciTech without any restrictions. The journal does not request a transfer of copyright ownership. Upon acceptance, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish, archive, and digitally distribute the manuscript as the original publisher of first publication.

All articles are published under the creative commons framework. The manuscript will be simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
